Writing is considered as the highest language skill. Some writing guru's think that writers are born, not made. They are right as far as creative writing is involved, but in technical writing, everybody can be taught how to write technical documents. The ability to write poetry and even fiction is innate to an individual, the classroom cannot teach creativity if a child does not have this talent. The classroom can only hone one's literary talent. If there is no talent, then what is there to hone?
